Staff – Accountant & Bookkeeping – Part-time

Coast Mountain Academy is seeking an accountant for a 1-year term, to cover a maternity leave. The applicant must be highly skilled, independently motivated, and must have experience in accounting, budgeting, processing accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll, employee benefits programs, and managing all other fiscal processes for a company. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in accounting for non-profit organizations, financial planning for growth and development, and familiarity with the specific platforms listed below. The position will begin with a 2-week period of paid onboarding with our current accountant. 

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets + Docs, Sage 50 Simply Accounting, and Payworks software is an asset. 

Remuneration for this part-time position will be in the $60,000 range, depending on qualifications and experience.
