Mme Oceane Labelle Joins CMA
The Coast Mountain Academy team is happy to welcome Mme Oceane Labelle as the new French teacher at both the middle and senior school campuses. She is a perfect fit with CMA’s mission to create opportunities for well-rounded and deep learning in (and outside) of the classroom, as well as our desire to graduate conscientious global citizens. Here are a few words from Mme Labelle:
I grew up in the beautiful town of Mont Tremblant, Quebec. My undergraduate studies focused on Second Language Teaching and Indigenous Studies at the University of Ottawa, and I hold a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in French from the University of British Columbia. I believe that students learn best through experiential learning and that learning a second language connects students with people globally, opens up opportunities in travel, work, and understanding different cultures. I am so excited to join the CMA community, to share with the students my passion for language and for the outdoors. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
